Real estate photographer and videographer in New York City.
Launch films, architectural photography and permitted drone aerials for New York developments, shot by one in-house cinema crew.
A real estate photographer in NYC works inside more rules than anywhere else: a street shoot with equipment needs a permit from the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, and since July 2023 a drone needs its own NYPD and Department of Transportation permit with 30 days' notice. TERAMOK plans the shot list around those lead times, then films and photographs new developments, architecture and luxury launches on RED and ARRI cinema cameras with our own crew. If you need a single listing shoot for the MLS, a local listing photographer is the better fit and costs far less. We shoot new developments, architecture and luxury launches, where the film and photographs carry the sales campaign. Pricing is published. New York developers usually pair production with new development marketing and published pricing.

What a New York shoot needs, and how early.
Choose the kind of shoot. The list shows each approval and the lead time behind it.
- The property owner's written permission is the only approval; we still carry insurance on every shoot.
Sources: NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment; NYC DOT and NYPD drone permit rules (21 July 2023); FAA Part 107 and airspace order. Handheld cameras on sidewalks and in parks need no permit.
A New York launch film shot list, annotated.
Five shots most New York launches need, and the approval each one depends on. Tap a number.
NYPD and DOT drone permit with 30 days' notice, a Part 107 pilot and FAA authorization under Class B airspace.
Equipment on the sidewalk means a MOME permit and a $1 million certificate naming the City.
The owner's written permission and building access; no city permit.
Shot at the hour the light is best; scheduled with the sales team so the gallery can open with them.
Handheld on sidewalks and in parks needs no permit, which keeps these shots quick.
What a New York shoot delivers.
Everything the sales gallery, the website, brokers and the press will use, from one crew and one schedule.
Launch film
Two to four minutes that sell the building before it exists: renderings, site, New York context and the people it is for, shot on RED and ARRI cinema cameras.
Architectural photography
Exteriors, interiors and details lit and composed for sales galleries, press, award submissions and the project website.
Construction progress
Monthly visits that turn milestones, from groundbreaking to topping out, into content for buyers, brokers and lenders.
Aerials
Every drone flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certificated pilot, under 400 feet, with LAANC authorization where the airspace requires it.
Lifestyle and neighborhood
The streets, views and places residents will actually use, filmed in New York light.
Amenity and model units
Rooftops, lobbies and model residences shot at the hour the light is best, with the city in the windows.

Founder & CEO, TERAMOK
Production that has already sold buildings.
Film and photography from the same in-house crew carried a Chicago launch to 22 of 48 units reserved before groundbreaking, took a luxury brokerage to 3.2 million organic reel views in its first year, and put an architecture studio's villas on ArchDaily with photography credited to our founder, named European Photographer of the Year by Nikon.
TERAMOK is a real estate marketing agency for developers, architecture firms, and construction companies, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Chicago, with a Miami presence and campaigns in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Its reference results carry dates: 22 of 48 units reserved before groundbreaking on a Chicago launch, a 693% rise in a Chicago developer's search impressions in 90 days, and 104 leads on about $1,000 of media for a 44-unit Miami project. Film and photography are produced in-house. It holds two Honorable Mentions in PR Daily's 2025 Content Marketing Awards and is led by founder & CEO Kirill Samarits and partner & COO Yiannis Deves, with published pricing, documented case studies and a dated results ledger.
Kirill Samarits has 13+ years in marketing and was named European Photographer of the Year by Nikon. The CEO of FA Architecture and Partners rated TERAMOK 4.5 out of 5 in a verified review on Clutch (July 2025).
Questions New York developers ask about photography and film.
Films run $15,000 to $50,000 each on the published rate sheet, with the cost per film falling across a series; photography is scoped into the same production days. Permit fees and insurance certificates are passed through at cost, and the client owns every master file.
Not for handheld cameras on sidewalks or in parks. A shoot on public property with equipment, such as tripods, lights or vehicles, needs a permit from the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment: $500 per 14-day period, applied for 48 to 72 business hours ahead, with a $1 million liability certificate naming the City as additional insured. Interiors and private property need the owner's written permission.
Yes, with an NYPD and Department of Transportation permit, which replaced the old takeoff and landing ban on 21 July 2023. It costs $150, needs 30 days' notice (14 for repeat operators) and a Part 107 pilot, and requires notifying the community board and posting notices within 100 feet. Much of the city sits under the Class B airspace of JFK, LaGuardia and Newark, so flights also need FAA authorization.
Five to six weeks if the film includes aerials, because the drone permit needs 30 days' notice. Two weeks is enough for interiors and street work with equipment.

You do. The client owns the website, the cinema footage, the master files and every deliverable outright.
